So... here I am, sitting in front of my PC with the taxation coursebook and the income tax act 07 opened. Expectation - risk that affect what you will expect to see in that financial statements

Client Viability - risk of the organisation not being viable

Audit risk (of specific assertions) - does the risk mean it is likely that an item is incorrectly valued, not complete, inaccurate etc.

Control environment - risk that make misstatemts more likely e.g. management under extreme pressure to meet targets, etc.

Clints advice/ comments for client - is this a risk that the the auditor should inform the client about.

What is Auditing: Auditing is a professional engagement that allows an independent auditor to provide a high but not absoulte level of assurance through issuing a positive opinion about the creditibiliy of assertion or a set of assertions base on accountability.
Auditing: provide assurance about the reliability of information in financial statement
assurance is improving the quality of information.

Expection gap:It is the difference between the auditor understanding of their duties and what the user expect the auditors to do.

Three components of EG: Defficient performance, defficient standard, unreasonable expectation.
The two way to improve: better auditing and public education.

Completeness means ' all transatcion and events that should have been recoreded has been recorded.
Accuracy means amounts and data relating to recorded transactions and events have been recorded appropriately
occurance means transactions and events that have been recorde have occured andpertain to the entity
cut-off means ' transactions and evens have been recorded in the correct accounting period being examinded
classification means 'transactions and events have been recorded in the proper accounts.

me, millhouse, spaghetti man, and sniffle are currently "studying" for our 222 test coming up tonight.

Spaghetti man: just came in
Me: well, im on the blog

The thing about 222 is that there's almost no consistency in the answers what so ever.
The diagrams are sometimes labeled other times not labeled, the list of important features of a diagram varies depending on what time of the month it is etc etc...

In conclusion, all we can hope for is that the test was written during the "right" time of the month.

We all know that accounting is just an over-complication of what is essentially revenue-expenses.
When the new faculty building was constructed, I would've thought that the university would have used architects to design the building. However, I have come to the conclusion that there were cost-cutting involved in the construction of the building. Instead of using architects, they actually asked accounting staff to design the building.

While I sat this morning waiting for my lecture I saw a great number of visitors (most likely here for some event) walking into the building and:
1. Had no clue where they were suppose to go
2. Had no idea HOW to get there

I might have mentioned a while back that there are all but one visible stairs that lead up from the first to the second floor, and that stair is OUTSIDE the building.... Ok, it might look good to not have a stair inside leading up for the second floor, or it might be the new "it" thing but come on... this is the building NOT an accounting practice or something that should be over-complicated.

Since we're talking about accounting, let me rage about the allocation of marks in the test.
We were asked to fill in the missing numbers for a statement (from a-e). There were NO indication that they asked for the "total" figure at the end so I didnt add all the figures from a-e up.

Got my marked paper back yesterday and found out that they actually allocated 20% to the total figure..... I had a massive (albeit invisible) WTF on top of my head.....
Ughhh......

It appears that the OLS estimation method is more accurate than the WLS estimation method. Which is strange…..wieukfjsnda,esewfhkajewkl considering the fact that WLS is suppose to be a better method than freaking OLS on robust!!!!!

Well, the pressure of having an audience is definitely on. Grammar Nazi alert. It feels like primary school all over again.

But back to the topic of "omg, who pissed in your cornflakes today?" Today I have a few rants.

First of all, I hate all you people out that who tell me, "Oh, I love rainy days...". I suggest you take a walk in it when you have somewhere important to go, wearing a poncho and slippers with no umbrella.

Second of all, did anyone realise that Chapter 9 of Finance 251 is just repeating itself over and over again, using different and complicated words?

Thirdly, why oh why when people go to Subway, they feel like they are at a gourmet experience? "I don't want my Subway toasted, I only want it heated. I want pickles, but only 2 and a half slices please. Can I just have pepper no salt? I'm on a diet so I want that less than 6 grams of fat sub... can I use that Add-On deal and get 2 cookies please?"

I had the misfortune to stand in line for twenty minutes for a normal Sub of the day because I met a big bunch of retards who did the same thing over and over again. And what's worse? They had the time to think about what breads they want while waiting for others, but noooooo, they just had to think about it only when it got to their turn.

FFS, there's only five kinds of bread! This is not "what's behind door number 3".

Last, but not least, though I am glad they moved the Econometrics tests back to May first, I am still emotionally scarred for giving up berry-picking to study for a test I don't have.

Does anyone have a piece of modern technology which has failed miserably in your hands, now you have to wack it against the wall (a few times) just to turn it on?

I used to see it in movies - most recent one being "Zac and Miri make a porno" where Miri's apple macbook needed to be smacked a few times for the screen to show anything (btw i really don't regard that as a spoiler for the film so don't go thinking that was the best part of the movie or anything)

Now in my hands, is my phone. After (and probably due to) countless plummets onto concrete ground, gliding around the bottom of my bag nearly everyday, strange addiction my friends have to sliding my phone up and down randomly but also excessively when they see it, I now have to wack the phone to adjust the volume to play my music. Though I still haven't figured out the amount of force needed for each volume.. right now i'm working between a solid knock and a baseball throw against my wall

We all want things to do what they should do. They're programmed to do just that. But there's comes a time when you wish things didn't do their job so well. Last night, I found myself stabbing away at my pot of frozen yogurt with a spoon like an angry yogurt-deprived child, wishing my fridge didn't freeze my pot of yogurt rock-hard that I end up with a bent spoon and a frozen hand.

And then there's the commercial packaging. Yes we do want our food to be properly sealed in their packages for hygiene reasons but with the time ticking by in the morning as I try to run to my bus stop on time, I do NOT have time to struggle over opening a WELL SEALED ham packet. See the story goes like this:

9.25am: Sniffle opens the fridge door
9.26am: Sniffle tries to open the packet of ham
9.27am: Sniffle struggles with opening the packet of ham
9.28am: Sniffle is still struggling
9.29am: Sniffle gets scissors and stabs the packet and makes a mess
9.35am: Sniffle has to run to the bus stop thanks to the stupid ham packaging.

Be careful what you wish for. It might just come true..with a little twist that makes you wish you never wished for it.

When you spend alot of money on something, you expect them to work.

When you pay 100 bucks (because you want to be environmentally friendly ♥!) for a rechargeable Microsoft Mouse; you expect to be able to recharge the mouse easily without needing to google for "how to recharge microsoft laser 7000 mouse". You also expect the mouse to be fully functional, especially when you are trying to deny last hits in DOTA, or when you are trying to run-the-eff-away.

You do not expect it to lag across your screen when you desperately want to highlight a size 7 "i" for your assignment; and by no means is it suppose to crash on you after just 2 hours of using it when you spent the last two nights charging it. Also, you expect to be able to scroll down a page, like you'd be able to using a cheap as mouse, only better cause you paid heaps of money for it eg your summer internship paycheck.

And, naturally when it doesn't work, you feel cheated; ripped-off. It's as if you paid good money for a ship cruise and find out you have to do the paddling. And tech service for Microsoft is located in India, and the only advice they offer you is to "just put in a battery". If I wanted to contribute to the piling amounts of battery, I would. I would have also purchased a cheaper mouse that is 60 dollars cheaper.

Then there is this plane with the logo' XXX Air Farming Ltd' crashed into the hill, I LOL at it.( well i dont want to be that sad)

Then come Gilford riding on his motorbike, trying to run over Horne, the tricky little guy.

So securitibank lended some money to him, which is arguably illegal, but then there is no element of fraud or sharp practice in it.

Savill then comes along save the day by bringing the sham test and the fraud/sharp/unconscienable test.

COMLAW AND the WITCH CO

well after inspired by sniffle post, and after hours of comlaw... this is what you will write.

Case: Witch Co, the company producing all the poison apple to fulfill the need of snow white to be poisoned. Due to the negligence of the mirror(an employee and shareholder and director), has produce a series of apple that is not poisoned. Soon after the witch used one of these to poison snow and white and well, obviously failed. Advise the witch as to her position with the company, can she find the mirror personally liable? Also she had paid for 1000 more of the poisoned apple, the company's constitution expressed stated that 'poisoned item cannot be traded at quantities over 100 '

under section 15 of the companies act 1993, it is stated that a company has a separate legal personality. And it is separate from its shareholders. So in that sense, it is unlikely that the witch can find the mirror personally liable.
normally a compnay will the capacity to do pretty much everything, stated in section 16(1) of the companies act, however in 16(2) it allows the company to restrict it own capacity by the constitution which is the case now. However in section 17(1) and 18(1a) expressly stated that even though a company constitution has not be comply with, it does not deem the contract invalid, it is likely that the witch co will still have to delievery the 1000 poison apply at the end of the day. The only way the company can argue it way out is that in proviso of section 18 of the company act, it stated that if the person is ought to have or has knowledge of the situtation by the virtue of his or her position with the company. This is highly argueable as the witch have the mirror, which tell her about pretty much everything in the world(eg. the prettiest girl in the kingdom) Note that merely because the witch co 's constitution in the far far away register / a copy is available for inspection at the witch co doesn't deem the witch have the knowledge of the situation.

Rather can the mirror be held personally liable depends on the actual purpose of the company. We have to apply tests to determine to lift the corporate veil. The first test arise from the Savill v Chase Holding ltd, we have to see is there element of fraud or sharp practise or where it would be unconscionable. This case, there is no fraud as the company is not set up to sell fake poisonous apple, neither there is element of sharp practice, as it is just doing what it is suppose to do. Unconscionable action does not exist in this case as they are just merely business man trying to sell poisonous apple. The other test will be the sham test, such test were applied in the case Gilford motor co. Ltd v horne, it is to test whether the company is just a mere sham to avoid liability. in this case, witch co is not a mere sham, it is with the true intention to poison the general public.

Ok I can't be stuffed carrying this on... comlaw totally took over the other space that the witch co was occupying in my brain. Now i am left with comlaw in my brain...

There are times when we believed, with all our hearts and hoped, with all our souls that THIS time, it will be different; this time, it won't hurt to have a little faith; this time, I won't be let down.

I guess it's not so wrong to succumb to the tempations of that ever so deliciously red apple. Maybe this time the apple isn't poisoned. Who cares it's the evil witch with warts that hands it over?

It sucks how much our lives are regulated by university. By regulated I mean running to class while trying to munch on a sandwich or forgetting how many lectures you've attended that day during the middle of law of attribution lecture(or was it authority?)

Please just tell me this is worth it because I forgot the time I said loss of sanity is what I wanted to get out of university. I'm sure it's in the fine prints of our enrollment forms.

Is this all that there is to our life? Is this what we've waited for during all those years of college? COME OOOOOOOOOONN. Grunt.

Another member to the Great complaints~ The spaghetti man- A humble University student

As a university second year, life is pretty packed. Work don't seems to ever stop.

Assignments and tests just keep on coming... And I have recently discovered that all this extra workload has HUGE impact on a normal healthy Human being.

1. Serious short term memories lost: Everyone forgets where they put the pen once in a while,but due to the fact that my mind is preoccupied with (Ultra Vires, company, Statement of Comprehensive income, intergration by parts, implicit differentiation... the list goes on, and they are like virus in your computer, sucking up ur RAM like crazy) The result is that, let's say you need to go to pee now, but then due to the lack of RAM in your brain, the command is soon forgotten. Only when you are about to brust, you will remember that you want to go.

2. LAGGING : People start to lag when they are preoccupied with all these things in their brain. What usually take you one hour to do can easily become a four hours task.(this post took me 4 hours)

3.Procrastination: here i am blogging when i should be slaving away to finish the accounting assignment.

millhouse has officially died. Study has already got the better of him in the paranoia which was inevitably due to follow the start of the new semester. Plus the announcement of test dates, the first of which is only a little over 2 weeks away. The announcement of tests already was probably the final killing blow. He should really currently be working on something constructive, such as tidying up the mess which somewhat resembles the beginnings of his stats assignment. Or completing applications in the hopes of adding to his level of work experience. Or, well, cleaning his room, because the spiders are angry. Hmm.

Also, he is writing in the third person for reasons unknown even to him. And no, he is not under the influence of any illicit substances because he would much rather watch popcorn cooking.

There has never been a better time to put a stop to time -before all the assignments, reports, tests, exams, tutorials, lectures come rolling in like a tsunami.

Times like this, it's almost like you don't know whether to run or swim. If you run, the water will still get you no matter how fast you can run. If you swim, the water hasn't even hit you yet (in the meantime, you can stare at the MASSIVE wave coming at you) but when gravity finally pulls it down, you don't even know if you can float - let alone swim. This metaphor for the start of second year university might seem a bit outrageous, but I can tell you a 4month holiday that passes by in the blink of an eye - THAT is outrageous.

I guess they're right when they said that time flies when you're having fun.

Bigger sample size, smaller the sampling error

It seems like the voting progress on our poll is going quite well. The extention to our poll will draw a larger sampling population and idealy lead to a better representation of the true underlying opinion for Wern's future dating preferences.

However I'd like to point out Wern's suggestion for voters to select the first two options seems to arise from his personal interest but this also causes a bias in the polling process. I'd like to balance this out by asking voters to also consider the last two options in an unbiased manner.

Seeing as Scarlett Johanson is in the running to become our blog mascot, I think it's only fair to put a contender up to the spot. Enjoy.

When Nature Calls? Summer Rain, Rage and a Broken Hoop :/

Yeahhh, so its been the summer break and, well, as should be with the summer season, we've been getting some pretty nice sunny weather these past few weeks.

But last night the weather pulled an unexpected 360 for the worse. Brilliant. Well, I guess it was unexpected for me anyways because i don't watch the weather reports, but hey, that's not the point.

Rain is pretty important for everything eh. So its good to have every once in awhile. Otherwise without it, farmers can't grow what they grow, we can't eat what we eat, and I can't have free showers. >_> And end up with a chronic drought problem and all the other things that come with that. Then we'd really be royally...in trouble.
But are the heavy winds that accompany it really that necessary? Damn man. I was online this morning chatting with sniffle and JW when I looked out the window and noticed my basketball hoop on a slant. MY BASKETBALL HOOP. It got blown over in the storm last night. Gonna have to shoot with my head slanted too now. =.=v

Kinda reminds me of this hour long debate some of my friends had over which was cooler, thunder or lightning. "Thunder is like, F$%^&'ing BANG! But then all lightning does is make flashes in the sky. But then you don't wanna get hit by lightning because you'll end up super crispy".... we were REALLY, really monumentally bored. Had to be there though lol. Good times. Man we should have recorded that. Aaaanywyas, moving on...

In a relationship. Dating. Seeing each other. It's complicated.

Boys and girls. Men and women. Men and men?

After seeing the movie He's just not that into you, I got me the idea of complaining about people liking one another. But before that, the movie Hitch (starring Will Smith as the "date doctor") has been one of my "yay movies" that I watch when I don't feel like watching Doctor Phil. *Spoiler alert so if you still want to see the movie, skip this paragraph.* The movie provides a somewhat idealistic twist to the realistic dating world where the Date Doctor creates the otherwise-nonexistent-opportunity for a lady to get to know a man. She probably would never even consider to date him, the decent man that she might never have gotten to know because of her own doubts and insecurities. Now the great thing about the movie is how it truthfully depicts the rarity of finding love, the helplessness of falling in love and the difficulty of keeping it. In reality, as idealistic as we'd like to be, we still fall on the pavement as hard as gravity pulls us even if we feel like we can fly with cupids wings. And no, a kiss from her on your half broken arm is not going to make it heal.

The movie that recently hit our (one-step-behind-the-rest-of-the-world) NZ cinemas - He's just not that into you gives us the perfect examples of just how hard it is to interpret male-female dynamics.

Maybe the male species out there haven't experienced this very much, but us ladies have certainly been 'the shoulder' when HE hasn't called. Perhaps it's because our soft hearts can't handle kicking a friend when they're down that we choose the more comforting words to soothe their mind. Ever gone back to the place where you grew up long after you left?

I did.

During the coldest nights of winter '09, me and my crazy parents decided to head up north to the cold-ER and dry-ER Beijing for 5 days. Boy it was cold. I don't know how I survived year after year when I grew up in Beijing (probably because I was wrapped up in so many layers). Acclimation does not occur over night, so while I shivered and shriveled during the day - sightseeing still had to go on.

From temples to our old apartment, from the Olympic Village to family friends' place, there was always someone wherever you look. With such a huge population, I don't blame them for being in my sight. Beijing was better than I assumed - more welcoming and friendly than Shanghai (no offence to anyone). Taxi drivers were chatty, one even sang for us.

Now for my complaints (mwahaha).. I think I lost my train of thought..

Oh yes now I remember. Going back to the area where I grew up, all these things have changed. Shops that used to be there aren't there anymore, people that used to be there aren't there anymore. Then I feel stupid for trying to hold on to past memories like how I used to press my face against the shop window to watch the lady decorate the cake. (Wonder if I looked funny to her)

Then there's the visit to the Temple. Somehow, a desserted place during other times of the year suddenly becomes packed with people during Chinese NY. I pushed, and I got pushed. Everywhere I "walked", I could not spread my elbows apart. We were packed tighter than rice in a sushi roll (screw the sardine can metaphor). Oh and a fight started but then I got dragged away by mum.

During this trip, I ate yellow tomatoes and fish made into a squirrel. I was close to being deafened by hundreds fireworks that was planted along the street, being fired away only metres infront of me (it was like a warzone). I babysat kids for family friends while the older generation chatted (For the first time, I found out that baby-SITTING could be taken so literally). I banged my head on the taxi door countless times.

But I'd go back there anyday.

hey hey, millhouse here. it's been awhile. Sniffle's onto me about posting now XD
So...2009 already eh, and we're all already what, halfway through our uni careers? i thought 4 months of holidays would last a bit longer, but it's almost the beginning of another 6 month slugfest of cramming, exams and the inevitable plethora of white/malting hairs which are sure to follow.

We've already had to decide on our courses this year. Hahah, uni stress hitting us before its even started. I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to be doing to finish my degree. Luckily I got wern and sniffle to do theirs first and kinda.... hijacked their timetables lol. Damn I need to get my ass back into reality and geared up for use. Well, metaphorically anyways.

Anyways, MAN. yeah. what else did i have to say. that's about it from me eh. err... >_> ohhh yeah. wern. good luck this year!! ----> (disclaimer: don't look at me)

You'd think being on holiday would bring our complaints to an end. You thought wrong.

With uni around the corner and a kick of reality millimetres from our half-emptied brains, the holiday season would eventually end.

Being in the winter season for a good half a year, my body is screaming for some summer warmth. The "summer" holiday that is the longest of all has left our own friends sprinkled across the world, our textbooks to collect dust (or be burned), our first year at university now a past memory. In many ways, life at uni turned out to be different to what I'd imagined. Friends were harder to make, lectures were much more boring and people were more dependent on independence. There were ups. There were downs. Then you move on.

After being grilled in examrooms time after time (not literally), we were all ready for this 4month long holiday to give our brains a proper rehab. And then you realise how blind uni can make you. Being with brainheads day after day, sometimes the only thing you see is your GPA. Maybe it is justified because we like to impress our prospective employers or our own parents. We compare and we compete. Then we lose track of what it is that we really want to do in the first place. Do I want to travel? Do I want to work 8hours a day infront of the computer? Do I really prefer payrolls more than balance sheets? I miss those days when I got fed and didn't have to think for myself. Now they're gone.

My complaint is that I don't want the holidays to end, I don't want the fun to end, I don't want good things to end. But they do. When we finally get a scrumptious taste of happiness, sometimes we can't help but to be afraid of loosing that feeling one day.

I wish good things

at least some

will never come to an end

at least for a little while

at least long enough

so it will last forever in our memories

Mmmmm back to uni tomorrow... which means Im one more step closer to the big holiday! Yussss.....

However.. being back to uni also means Im one step closer to the final exams... o man..
Being who i am, I cant motivate myself (aka: can't be arsed) enough to actually start studying which is quite a worry, looking at my recent results...

Anyways... these buggers (ie; my co-writers) must be having a good time since they have nothing to actually complain about.... lets hope they will when uni starts again..

Mid-semester "break"

I really see no reason why they call it "mid-semester break" when (for me) there are 2 tests and ANOTHER mgmt essay coming up after it...It really should just be called "Get ready ppl, tests and assignments coming up!" I mean... ive got friends doing BA that has 4 assignments and another test coming right after the break...

How can they expect us to take a "break" when we're faced with so much s** straight after it..

Maaan, infosys is a pain. It's so general that it's hard to tell what it's about or where they're going with it. From what i've pieced together so far, infosys is short for information systems lol. So its about computers and how businesses use them. I think. Hence, I thought the above was appropriate lol. Aanyways, it's halfway through the semester already. Im starting to feel some semblance of guilt because i've done a combination of just sleep and eat during every infosys lecture so far lol. I suppose that doesn't really help my cause either. Got an essay/ thing due on the 1st as well to hand in online. And management and econ just finished too. I'm currently sitting at my computer debating whether or not I should bother with it. In the room next to the one i'm in, which is my sisters', I can hear wafts of the most incendiary s&*t coming through the walls. It's terrible how a lot of radio stations play mostly crappy music these days. This is one of them. Okay, i've wasted enough time already. Time to start hacking away at infosys now. Ohhh bugger.

Hey hey, let's start a revolution!
So here's the plan. we'll get as many people as possible to accidentally bring yellow pages telephone books on our next accounting tutorial. :D Trying to make a statement? Who knows. Personally, I just want to see the look on the tutor's face if she notices. But that's up to every man, woman and child for themself. Okay, so that's one of the most idiotic plans to be devised on the face of the planet. But honestly. Look at the size of that beast. Measuring in at approximately 21 x 30 x 4cm (width x height x thickness) and weighing in at approximately 1.5kg (yes, I weighed it on my bathroom footscale), this is one thing you can't miss. As Q-man previously mentioned, we carry it around for 6 hours a day, 3 days a week, not including bus time. The fact the cover of it is yellow too doesn't help.

I accidentally dropped the thing, and the fall didn't even put a dent on it. Honestly. Built like a tank.
Yeah...I think i'll get started on this week's assignment now.

[Im currently eating some super roasty toaty, slightly burnt pizza while I type with one hand. Man this pic makes my problems look miniscule in comparison lol.]

Travelling downtown is starting to get pretty ridiculous. This morning I looked at myself in the mirror and decided my beard could do with a bit of a trim. I look at the time and I can either catch the bus which is about to come by in a couple of minutes, or just take it easy and catch the later bus. So I go with the side of personal hygiene for once and shave. Anyways, when I was on my way downtown a bit later, it turns out there was a jam. Baaad, bad jam. It took me 1 hour to travel a distance spanning approximately 5km. Due to roadworks. On the highway. At 8.55 am in rush hour traffic. Who starts roadworks in morning rush-hour traffic?! It's not even the fault of the bus being slow either. I ended up managing to catch the last 10 minutes of my accounting lecture at 10.40. Didn't miss anything important though. Well, I hope not lol.

Honestly, on the one day of the month (okay okay, fort-month to be more accurate) that I decide to shave, I think the world just decided to try and spite me for the fun of it. Moral of the story? When it comes down to shaving or catching the bus, catch the bus guys...

The accounting lectures are really starting to get to me. The guy we have currently is pretty monotonous. Hahah...it would be fun if our high school accounting teachers kidnapped him and hijacked his position instead... :/

Today, it was like synchronized sleeping in the row I was sitting in. Man, that could be like an olympic event. I conked out for a moment in it; started dreaming that I was in an x-wing from star wars. The only difference is that instead of shooting lasers, it was shooting chopsticks at enemies instead. Was pretty cool if only for a short few moments, 'till I got woken up by a friend's subtle punch. Well, that's my rant out for tonight. Still chipping away at the ends of that management essay from a few nights ago. Last paragraph! Just gotta finalise all the referencing after that....which will need one day to do lol...

Known to some as the elevator, to some as the lift. It is the invention that is bugging me at the moment. Ive been trying to hold back and not make this complaint as it is likely to reveal which uni we go to (eventhough some of you would have already discovered that by now).

Alright, on to the complaint... the elevator/lift at the ___ school building (supposedly state-of-the-art) just takes soo long to actually close the doors.... Ive heard from someone that it is designed with the disabled/handicapped in mind, which is understandable but I mean.. with the ___ school being so busy all the time theres bound be someone around to actually hold the "<>" button for them.

What happens if your running late and really needs to get up to the 2nd/3rd etc floors really quickly? Again, due to the "state-of-the-art" design of the building, there are no stairs that links the 1st to the 2nd floor (except from the one outside the building itself) which will enable ppl
running late to run up the stairs.

Whoaa, i'm beginning to feel the burn for the upcoming week. Uni starting to put on the pressure with an essay for management due shortly after the upcoming week. It's a bit worrying, because it seems like my essay writing style is starting to sound like a blog post lol. Ohh if life was only as simple and straightforward as a kirby game. Currently 700 words into it and battling a bout of writer's cramp. It's kind of ironic how I can keep on vomiting out blog posts like this, but I can't sit my ass down long enough to write out a 300 word paragraph. Hmm, I suppose listening to Utada Hikaru cranked through my speakers probably isn't going to help too much either. At least it sounds good though. If anyone has a huge knowledge of Fayol's principles and is feeling extremely philanthropic, please leave a mess.! I have a monumental dislike for writing things when you're given the topic and a set style to write it in. Anyways, we've got an econ test right after that too. Nuts. Unfortuantely, i've been more lazy than usual this semester, so its gonna be pretty hectic with the cram time this weekend. Sheesh, five weeks into the semester and it still feels like i'm just out of holidays. Anyways, that's my rant out for now. Time to start hacking away at that damn essay. After the ice cream break. The Phone book

The accounting text book... many of you would have had the experience of carrying textbooks around university... well.... mines no different,.. except that the books that Ive got to carry around is the same size as those of phone books.... (thats roughly around 2inches, or 5cm). Thats freaken heavy.... imagine carrying those around all day.

See, carrying just the accounting text book alone isnt that horrible.... but take in to consideration of other books that you might have to carry around..... Add all those up and youll end up carrying nearly 20kg.... (u know, books, refills, drink bottles, wallet, keys etc etc.)

Surely, carrying this type of load everyday cant be good for your back...
